Cold War 寒戰 Aaron Kwok ) and Waise Lee (Tony Leung Ka Fai ) fight to take control of the rescue operation, codenamed "COLD WAR". While attempting to free the hostages, Lau and Lee are unwittingly drawn into a larger, more sinister conspiracy within the Hong Kong Police Department.
