The M4A1 was the primary rifle used by the sailors aboard the USS Nathan James presumably this will continue to be the case, as in the trailer for season 2 Tex (John Pyper-Ferguson), LT Danny Green (Travis Van Winkle) and Lt. Carlton Burk (Jocko Sims) can be seen armed with them.

Commander (CDR) Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) is seen armed with a SIG-Sauer P226 in the trailer.

Guards at one of the body burning facilities in the trailer can be seen armed with an Heckler & Koch MP5K.

In the trailer an unknown subject can be seen engaging with, what appears to be, a Heckler & Koch MP5A3

A Heckler & Koch MP7A1 can be seen next to a dead body in the trailer, one can also be seen being carried by Lt. Ravit Bivas (Inbar lavi).
