GP-25 Kostyor
The 40-mm GP-25 under barrel grenade launcher is issued to the Russian Army. It is also used by Special Forces including SPETSNAZ and OMON. The grenade launcher fits the following assault rifles: AKM, AKMS, AK-74, AK-74M, AK-101, AK-103 and AN-94.
Due to the various small problems with the GP-25 an upgraded version which was easier to use and lighter called the GP-30 Obuvka was developed. It was developed mainly for the AK-100 series but can also be fitted onto the AKM, AKMS and the AK-74.
