Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a first person shooter available for the XBOX 360 & PC. It was released on 29th June/2nd July 2010. In this game you play as two characters. One is the Sniper Ghost Warrior and the other is his Spotter, the SFOD-D (Delta Force) Operator. This feature allows the player to engage in two types of gameplay: long and close Range. the game takes place deep in the Columbian jungle and has realistic survival physics such as limited sniper rounds and stealth gameplay.
The following weapons can be seen in the game:
The Ghost Warrior
The first playable character is The Ghost Warrior. He is the sniper character of the two. His missions are more long ranged and stealth based compared to the second playable characters. Each of the rifle scopes have heartbeat monitors and range indicators on the HUD.
SR-25/Mk 12 SPR Hybrid
The first Sniper rifle usable by The Ghost Warrior is the Knight's Armament SR-25 with an attachable suppressor. It incorrectly appears with a forward assist and 5.56x45mm sized magazines.
Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova (SVD)
This SVD Dragunov sniper rifle is unlocked the further you go through the game.
Heckler & Koch MSG-90
The next rifle on the list is the Heckler & Koch MSG-90
Accuracy International AS50
The final sniper rifle unlockable by the sniper is the Accuracy International AS50. This rifle doesn't come with a suppressor.
Heckler & Koch Mark 23
The main sidearm of The Ghost Warrior. It comes with a suppressor. The slide reads "Cal. 48 Auto", which is not a real caliber, at least for the Mk. 23, this is probably a typo. It is the only pistol issued to the player in the entire game.
M2HB Machine Gun
The Browning .50 caliber M2HB is available in some missions.
M18A1 Claymore anti-personnel mine
The M18A1 Claymore can be used by both characters.
SFOD-Delta Force Operator
The second Playable Character is a SFOD-Delta Force Operator. His missions aren't as stealth based. However he only has one main weapon that has been released.
Colt M4A1
In the art work for the game, a spotter is depicted holding an M4A1 Carbine equipped with an AN/PEQ-2, M203 grenade launcher and an Aimpoint CompM2 Optical Sight with what appears to be an EoTech G23 FTS. The only one that can be used in the game features close-quarters back up sights as opposed to the carrying handle.

Seen in the hands of enemy soldiers. The AKS-74 is used by some enemies early in the game, but the IMBEL MD 97 is more common.
