M16

Two full-length M16 rifles with an A2 handguards are seen in Santa's armory and are later used by Santa and Mrs. Clause in the trailer for The Night the Reindeer Died

M16A1 with A2 style handguards - 5.56x45mm. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available.

M177

Several Colt XM177 lookalike rifles can be seen in Santa's armory. At least one of these rifles is a replica, as a smaller barrel can be seen in the barrel in one shot.

Lee Majors (playing himself) uses a hand-held M134 Minigun during the trailer for The Night the Reindeer Died.

The terrorists who attack Santa's workshop in The Night the Reindeer Died carry H&K MP5K submachine guns, which can be identiefied only in one brief shot where the silhouette of one is visible.

During Frank Cross' overly-effective trailer for the Scrooge TV special, a man can be seen committing a drive-by shooting with a sawed-off double-barreled shotgun.
