The Stechkin APS pistol is prominently used by Sun-Woo (Byung-hun Lee) for much of the film. He takes the pistol from a weapons dealer who claims that it is "the finest gun manufactured in Russia" and uses it when he seeks revenge against his former boss, Mr. Kang.
