Run Boy Run is a 2013 French-German-Polish movie by the director and producer Pepe Danquart. In the winter of 1942, nine-year-old Srulik (the twins Kamil and Andrzej Tkacz took turns portraying him) escapes from the Warsaw ghetto. Srulik's father gives his son the advice never to forget his Jewish roots, an advice the boy soon has to understand in his own body: His life is by no means saved when he escapes from the Jewish ghetto. In the midst of the turmoil of the Second World War, the Polish population must also fight for bare survival - and the Nazis, who are always effectively organized, offer a bounty for the denunciation of fugitive enemies of the people.

The following weapons were used in the film Run Boy Run:

Handguns

The P38 is seen on the left lying on the table. Note the shoulder insignia of his uniform matches an SS-Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant Colonel) but he is simply credited as "SS Officer".

Suspicious of the situation, the SS officer racks the slide of his P38 while going to the barn. During the preparation, he keeps his finger on the trigger all the time which is partly correct since the trigger discipline was not a standard technique during WWII but is often seen in modern media as some of the following pictures will show.

Luger P08

A Luger P08 is briefly seen in the hands of an SS-Scharführer (Sergeant Major) (Urs Rechn). Several other Waffen SS officers including an SS-Obersturmführer (First Lieutenant) (Sebastian Hülk) carry holsters for Luger pistols which are not clearly seen inside.
