The Police Can't Move (original title La polizia ha le mani legate ("The police have their hands tied"), also released as Killer Cop) is a 1975 Italian crime movie directed by Luciano Ercoli. An explosion in a hotel in Milan kills numerous participants of international congress. General attorney Armando Di Federico (Arthur Kennedy) holds the investigation. An aged police detective Luigi Balsamo (Franco Fabrizi) had seen the man who planted the bomb but soon Balsamo is shot in the street. His friend Commissioner Matteo Orlandi (Claudio Cassinelli) starts his own unofficial investigation that leads him to some high rank politicians.
