Hard Days [2023, Japan]
|
Hard Days is a 2023 Japanese film. The film stars Junichi Okada as police detective Yuji Kudo, who accidentally runs over and kills a civilian on the way to visit his mother. The film follows his exploits as he hides the accidental murder from the police force and his family, all while a fellow police officer stalks his every move, claiming to be aware of the incident. This film is a Japanese adaptation of A Hard Day (2014).
WN: HOLY NUTS THIS MOVIE IS GETTING ANOTHER FOREIGN REMAKE. This is literally the fourth one its' gotten and the third Asian one. This movie isn't coming out until May 2023, but once it hits streaming, I'm going to get it over with and make the page for it. It's really fun looking at the gun variation between adaptations of this movie lol
WN - 3/8/2023: - Apparently some Indian actor and his production company bought the rights to a Hindi remake in 2020... wonder how that's doing. I'll work on that one too if it ever comes out
Escape from Mogadishu [2021, South Korea]

Morbius [2022, USA]

The Violence Action [2022, Japan]
WN: FUCK THIS MOVIE. The editing makes Bohemian Rhapsody look modest, and the fact that it's a movie about hired killers AND the yakuza means that THERE ARE A LOT OF GUNS. Lots of guns AND cocaine-fueled editing is NEVER fun to skim through.

(Forbidden) Siren [2003, Japan]
WN: Obtuse, confusing but interesting and kinda fun PS2 survival horror game. The characters are in a secluded rural village in Japan, which is why (most of) the guns are super old and Japanese.

Unknown Smith & Wesson revolver
Type 26 Revolver

Murata Type 22 rifle
Unknown Remington rifle
Grenades
Type 99 Hand grenade
(Forbidden) Siren 2 [2006, Japan]

Pistols
SIG-Sauer P230
#Alive [2020, South Korea]
WN: Just one revolver in this interesting zombie movie which seems to mirror the pandemic which struck the world in the year this movie was released in.
