2017 Discussion

La Femme NIkita (Edits from December 2013)

You called the AUG a two toned AUG. Let me know if I'm wrong, but there's nothing 2 toned about it. That's the standard olive green AUG Army version that was the military standard when it first came out in the 1980s :) Just checking with you first before I edit the page. :) Thanks. Some question of rare gun in movie

Hello Ben41! I'm sorry, I have some question: I know, that pages about media, that contain only tanegashima matchlock are ineligible. But, the movie Azumi also contain very rare, but realy historical exist Japanese matchlock revolver 1, 2, 3, like this (this movie also contain standart arquebuses). So, may I upload screenshots on discussion page to view it for Administrators. Azumi page on imdb. Pyramid Silent (talk) 16:47, 2 January 2017 (EST)

I created the stub on discussion page: Talk:Azumi‎. May you visit it for it discussion about it's eligibility, please. Pyramid Silent (talk) 03:16, 17 January 2017 (EST)

Contract to Kill

But I couldn't find a better damn source to screenshoot. But I'm trying and trying to find a better source.

Blue Bloods

If you're not going to take screencaps, why are you bothering to make the page in the first place?--Mandolin (talk) 11:48, 19 March 2017 (EDT)

The Son AMC Series

Greetings Sir, I apologize if this is the wrong forum, just wanted to say thank you for editing the entry I added, I am very new to this medium and can use all the help I can get. Much appreciated! --Septimius (talk) 23:42, 7 May 2017 (EDT)

The Son AMC Series Screencaps

Thank you for the input and help! Quick question, one of the other users stated only full screen screencaps should be used; however as this show is only streaming (legally) on AMC, the logo is stamped at all times. Should I crop the bottom portion of the caps? --Septimius (talk) 23:42, 7 May 2017 (EDT)

The Son AMC Series Additions

Just saw the changes you made, you are awesome!!! Thank you so much for the help! You are both more knowledgeable in IDing the firearms and better at editing the page! Hats off! --Septimius (talk) 23:42, 7 May 2017 (EDT)

The Son AMC Series

Thanks for the heads up, will sign my posts from now on. The cap you asked about is from Ep1, in the beginning right after Eli speaks to his son and turns around to take his granddaughter for a walk. --Septimius (talk) 23:42, 7 May 2017 (EDT)

Guardians of the Galaxy on Captain America talk page

Why did you delete my comments? What rule did it break? I hardly think I'm out of line questioning why GotG even needs to be there in the first place. Spartan198 (talk) 14:12, 14 May 2017 (EDT)

IMFDb identifies firearms used in film, TV, and video games. What purpose does completing the MCU category serve in that goal? If a piece of media isn't eligible for inclusion, a point should be made to not include it, much like we do with The Simpsons, Family Guy, Halo, and other ineligible media, not find ways to worm around it. But either way, admin or not, you frankly still had no business completely deleting my comments from the page since no rules were broken. Spartan198 (talk) 22:13, 14 May 2017 (EDT)

Main Page Not Working

Thanks for the heads up! It's an error in the DynamicArticleList extension that creates the 'Recently Updated' table. I'll have to trouble shoot this over the next few days. --bunni (talk) 00:37, 18 June 2017 (EDT)

Day of Infamy Mods

Hi buddy, it appears that 3 pretty high profile mods will be hitting the Steam workshop for Day of Infamy:

  • Screaming Steel, which is WWI:Source remastered for Day of Infamy as a base
  • Severe Defiance, a conversion that takes the battle to Norway
  • and Red Winter, which introduces the Eastern Front.

Do you think it is acceptable for me to add their respective firearms to the Day of Infamy page as a sub-entry?--OngYingGao (talk) 20:54, 6 July 2017 (EDT)

Mannix

Yeah, my local library stocked up on all 8 seasons. So yeah, I plan to do all of Mannix. Eventually. :P -SeptemberJack (talk) 20:53, 18 August 2017 (EDT)

Sure, I'll rename them as soon as I finish gathering the screenshots. Figured I'd just do the rest of the 18 episodes together instead of doing them 4-by-4. -SeptemberJack (talk) 00:31, 22 August 2017 (EDT)

Tips Concerning Picture Framing

Thanks for the heads-up on proper picture posting formatting procedure (relative to the Blood Father page in this case). --Cheers Pro2AGuy (talk) 21:27, 19 August 2017 (EDT)

thanks for the upgraded pics for Dead Bang

Those look fantastic! MoviePropMaster2008 (talk) 19:05, 16 September 2017 (EDT)

Wynonna Earp

I just wanted to drop in and say thanks for all editing and correcting you've done on the page. I've edited Wikipedia before but never to the extent of creating and editing an entire "universe", as it were. I can use all the assistance you've given. I noticed the page even got a big shout out in the newsletter email, which I'm sure wouldn't have happened without your valuable work on the entry. Thanks again! -- Callaway 829 (talk) 17:42, 18 October 2017 (EDT)

The Long Road Home

Are we going with the production company's episode numbers or IMDB's here? IMDB says the two "Black Sunday" parts were S1E01 and S1E02 and "Into the Unknown" was S1E03, National Geographic website says both the first two were S1E01 and Into the Unknown was S1E02. I know we go with IMDB for names, but what do we do for episode numbers if sources don't agree? Evil Tim (talk) 07:19, 25 November 2017 (EST)
