Lara's magazine holders

Has anything like that been patented, it allows her to simpley insert a fresh magazine because the magazine holder is almost like a magazine itself. It pushes a new on up on a spring. Probably impractical in real life since actual shooters use ONE gun, but I still think it was an interesting design. If anyone knows anything about a real version, please share it with me. - Gunmaster45
