Grand Theft Auto V: Difference between revisions
Grand Theft Auto V (also known as GTA5 or GTAV) is an upcoming installment of the Grand Theft Auto series being developed by Rockstar North, and published by Rockstar Games. The game was announced October 25, 2011 with its trailer debuting on November 2. The game is to be released September 17th, 2013.
The following weapons can be seen in the video game Grand Theft Auto V:
In the preview trailer three men jump out from a pest control van, armed with Norinco Type 56-2 rifles with green furniture and fitted with sound suppressors, which appear to be based off of PBS-1 AK suppressors. The unmodified rifle (with side Picatinny rails) is used elsewhere in the game.
The protagonists use a short-barreled AR-15 variant when robbing a jewelry store and bank in the trailers. It has the Carbine Rifle name from Grand Theft Auto IV. It is seen in Franklin's hands in the gameplay trailer, fitted with an angled foregrip similar to the Magpul AFG. The same foregrip is seen in the second trailer fitted to an LMG.

Unlike previous games, the protagonist actually drops the magazine, pulls back on the charging handle, and (at least in this case) ejects a round as he is chambering mid-mag.File:Michael.jpgMichael wielding a Carbine Rifle equipped with a Aimpoint CompM4 and a sound suppressor. IMI Compact Tavor CTAR-21
In the recent gameplay video, Michael is seen firing what appears to be a IMI Compact Tavor CTAR-21 with a raised scope mount and different handguard from a helicopter. A screenshot previously released by Game Informer showed a more correctly modeled CTAR-21 with a green finish.
A light machine gun resembling an FN Minimi derivative with an M60-style stock is seen in the first gameplay video on the weapon wheel and in the second trailer held by Trevor.
