Death Wish 3 is the third installment in the Death Wish series. In this 1985 film, Paul Kersey aka "The Vigilante" finds himself battling street punks in order to bring peace back to a once quiet New York neighborhood. Despite the New York setting, the film was actually made in England.
The following guns were used in the film Death Wish 3:
Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) carries a Colt Cobra during the film. He slays several punks with it during the film. Several other gang members use this gun at the finale shoot-out at the end of the movie.
A .475 Wildey Magnum with an 8" barrel is Paul Kersey's (Charles Bronson) main weapon in the film (in real life, the gun was Bronson's personal pistol).
Paul Kersey and his neighbor Rodriguez use a Browning M1919 machine gun to kill several gang members before it runs out of ammo. Both the Browning 1919 and MG42 belonged to Kersey's late Korean War buddy Charley, who apparently acquired the weapons during his stint in the Military.
Bennett (Martin Balsam) attempts to use Charley's MG42 to kill a crowd of gang members. Unfortunately for Bennett (Martin Balsam) the weapon malfunctions and he is unable to fire a single shot.
A Winchester Model 1200/1300 shotgun is seen being used by gang members. It seems that this shotgun was specially used for scenes where a weapon needed to be dropped. Such as the when Hermosa is killed and his Remington 870 changes to this weapon.
A M16 is seen used by several punks towards the end of the movie. The rifle is hard to identify because there is never a real clear shot or close-up of it. It is unknown whether this is an actual M16 or just a replica such as an MGC M16.
Several Ruger Mini-14 rifles are seen being used by gang members. This includes models with folding butt stocks, as well as rifles fitted with aftermarket stocks.
Several pistols appear in the movie only for a brief moment, thus making it hard to positively identify them. It does not help that most of the scene where these pistols do appear have characters running or quickly moving the firearm.
