El Gringo (2012)

El Gringo is a 2012 action film that focuses on a former government operative (Scott Adkins) who finds himself on the run in Mexico from cartel soldiers as well as corrupt law enforcement. Despite the Mexico setting, the majority of the film was shot in Bulgaria and Louisiana, explaining the unusual amount of blank-firing only replicas used in the film.

The following weapons were used in the film El Gringo (2012):

Beretta 92FS (Replica)

What appears to be a Beretta 92FS is seen wielded by several characters including The Man (Scott Adkins). As the film was shot in Bulgaria, this is more likely a Kimar Model 92 blank-firing replica.

The Man also uses a pistol that appears to be the blank firing Zoraki 925. This weapon is widespread in Eastern European countries (especially Hungary) because of the gun ownership laws.
