Code Name: Wild Geese (original Italian title Arcobaleno selvaggio, German title Geheimcode: Wildgänse) is a 1984 Italian-West German war movie directed by Antonio Margheriti (credited as Anthony M. Dawson). The story takes place in the Golden Triangle area of southeast Asia where a band of mercenaries under the command of Captain Robin Wesley (Lewis Collins) fights a Burmese opium lord. This is the first of three films that British actor Lewis Collins made with Margheriti; it was followed by Commando Leopard (1985) and The Commander (1988).
The following weapons are seen in the movie Code Name: Wild Geese:
During the attack on helicopter landing field Klein (Manfred Lehmann) is armed with M1 Garand fitted with a sniper scope. Later he changed it for M16A1.
In the opening scene most of Wesley's mercenaries are seen with M16A1 assault rifles. During the jungle operation Arbib (Thomas Danneberg) is armed with M16A1 with M203 grenade launcher. Several of Kim's men and General Khan's soldiers are also seen with M16A1s.
In the final scene Charleton (Klaus Kinski) and several of his men are seen with Colt Model 653 carbines. The movie was filmed in the Philippines, so these guns are most likely license-manufactured Elisco Model 653P.

Travers (Lee Van Cleef) operates the same MG during the attack on the train. In the final scene Charleton (Klaus Kinski) and his men are also armed with one or two M60s.
