:::Yep, that's the policy; I believe that scene meets the ''seen firing fully automatic'' requirement, even though it's too dark to see specifics like switches. The RoF shown in the scene is way too fast for an M1, as best as I can figure. They could be converted blank-firing devices in an M1 shell, or some tampering with visual/sound speed, but the overall effect seems to imply the fictional characters are on full-auto. No right justification? Huh, that would seem to lay out better, but if the standard is left justify, I'll move to that. :::::Ah, I did indeed mark is as "none", so I think I'm solid now. Still a few guns I'm not 100% on, but I think overall I think it's working out. I'm not sure how many people are actually going to read an write-up on a film this obscure, but it had some cool gun bits and I hadn't done an IMFDB piece before, so hunting screencaps and all has been interesting. Now, HAPPY EDITING! Zackmann08 (talk) 23:37, 20 October 2012 (EDT)

First off, a VERY impressive first article, nicely done. You just need to add images of the weapons above the screencaps and hyperlinks. Thanks. --Funkychinaman (talk) 12:38, 21 October 2012 (EDT)

Good call, think I fixed the thumbnails and hyperlinks now; I also went into the pages for the main actors and added their guns, and into the pages for the guns and added this film and which characters. Pretty close now? The main issues I'm unclear on is the model of the Colt revolvers used; I have a few more screencaps of other IRA members carrying revolvers, but they're even harder to see. Better to not add them, or add them so others can try and ID? Also not totally sure on the carbines being M2, though they appear to be in full-auto by sound/flash and so meet IMFDB's policy there. Any other fine-tunings? REPLICAwrittendowntheside (talk) 13:14, 21 October 2012 (EDT)
If you're unsure about an ID, you can always put them on the talk page and ask for help. As for the M2, I think there are very few real M2s out there, so it's probably safer to assume that they're M1s. (Per the M1 Carbine page: "There must be a visible selector switch or the weapon must be seen firing fully automatic to declare it to be an M2 Carbine.") As for the page, don't use right justification for the weapon images. I fixed the first one for you. Thanks! --Funkychinaman (talk) 13:24, 21 October 2012 (EDT)

Left justify isn't ideal either. Just go with "none". --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:00, 21 October 2012 (EDT)
