FAMAS-G2 with proprietary bipod deployed - 5.56x45mm Note 30-round STANAG magazine.

Current version of the FAMAS rifle (although the French Army still uses the FAMAS F1 as the their main service rifle). The G1 (which never saw widespread production) can be distinguished by its enlarged trigger-guard, an improved foregrip, and straight 25 round magazine, while the G2 utilizes the G1's trigger guard and foregrip, It has a redesigned magazine well for the use of STANAG magazines.

A FAMAS outfitted to be used in conjunction with the FELIN combat system. Most notable difference is the replacement of the integral carry handle with a flat-top receiver with a Picatinny rail for mounting optics.
