The following weapons were used in the film The Big Easy:

Detective Lieutenant Remy McSwain (Dennis Quaid) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 49 Bodyguard in an ankle holster.

Captain Jack Kellom (Ned Beatty) pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 60 after being punched by Remy.

Classic Smith & Wesson Model 60 - .38 Special

Detective Sergeant Andre DeSoto (John Goodman) is seen holding an Ithaca 37 when confronting Remy. (Ellen Barkin) also is seen using the shotgun.

An Ithaca 37 standard police model - 12 gauge. Used by several police officers, Kyle Reese and the Terminator.

An Ithaca 37 shotgun with an extended magazine tube is also used.

Full-stocked Ithaca 37 12 gauge with extended magazine tube. The one in the film has a sawed-off stock.

During an interview, Detective DeSoto has to give up his weapons, which include several handguns and knives.

Among the weapons seen here is a Remington 1866 Derringer and a Beretta Jetfire.
