I also thought that the revolver was a Blackhawk at first, but now I think it is a Colt New Frontier: The gun used by Kristofferson seems to have a case-hardened frame, while the Ruger Blackhawk has always used a blued frame. Also, if you look closely at the first vidcap, you'll note that the revolver has a ''hammer-mounted'' firing pin, and even the old model Blackhawks had a separated, ''frame-mounted'' firing pin (http://www.handloads.com/articles/default.asp?id=31). Charlie Wade's revolver
Charlie Wade's (Kris Kristofferson) revolver might be described as a Colt Peacemaker, but the size of the frame is bigger than a Colt. Plus the front Patridge sight is very distinct.
