Desperate Hours is a 1990 remake of a 1955 Humphrey Bogart film of the same name. In this film, Mickey Rourke stars as an escaped convict who takes over a home and terrorizes the family inside. Anthony Hopkins and Mimi Rogers are the husband and wife who try to keep their family alive as they try to devise a way to escape. The film was directed by Michael Cimino (The Deer Hunter).

Walther PPK

The Walther PPK is the main handgun used by Michael Bosworth (Mickey Rourke). He has it smuggled into the courthouse by his girlfriend Nancy Breyers (Kelly Lynch). Later, it's seen held by both Wally Bosworth (Elias Koteas) and Tim Cornell (Anthony Hopkins).

Colt Official Police

Nora Cornell (Mimi Rogers) keeps what appears to be a Colt Official Police) revolver in her home. It's seen taken and used by Albert (David Morse).

Smith & Wesson 5904

FBI Special Agent Chandler (Lindsay Crouse) is seen carrying a Smith & Wesson 5904 as her sidearm. When Nancy Breyers asks for a gun, Chandler unloads her S&W and gives it to her. Later in what appears to a continuity error, Michael Bosworth is seen opening fire on officers with it.
