I can see how someone could see it and claim it's a Beretta 92SB-C but some things like the hammer make me think otherwise. Does anyone have a clearer picture or another example of a Beretta 92SB-C, or something else it might be? --[[User:Yournamehere|Yournamehere]] 22:28, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

This movie takes place in 1975 right? Then why the hell does Carlito have a Beretta 92F, the only model available was the 92 at the time (and it JUST came out). Maybe the description on my channel guide got it wrong, though. I only saw the gunfight in the bar, so I never heard if the movie actually DOES take place in '75. - Gunmaster45

No you're right the movie is supposed to take place in 1975. Needless to say having Pacino use a Beretta 92F is a serious screwup. I saw an old Gary Cooper western once. Takes palce during the Seminole Indian War in Florida in the 1830's/1840's. Guess what. They have the characters using Colt 1873 Peacemakers. That's Hollywood for you. --Jcordell 22:34, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

At least that is not as bad as M16s(the original version) being used by U.S. marines in full metal jacket or type 84s being used by the vietcong in Tunnel Rats.Oliveira 18:17, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Vinnie isn't using a 1911, he has a Browning HP or a Makarov or something. ~Yournamehere

It's not a Makarov. Look at the lenght at the barrel. It is a 1911. And it doesn't look like a Browning HP at all. User: Colt

Yournamehere the 1911 used it's clearly a Auto Ordnance because has the slanted grooves on the slide. You can see well in this shot:

Carlito fires the M1911A1. You can get a good view of it in the mirror's reflection.
