The King's Choice is a 2016 Norwegian war drama directed by Erik Poppe that tells the events of the German invasion of Norway in April 1940. On the night of April 9, 1940, the German Kriegsschiffgruppe 5 enters Norwegian waters. The invasion of Norway has begun - their target: King Haakon VII.
