12 Strong Chris Hemsworth stars as Captain Mitch Nelson, the commanding officer of the Green Beret unit, who must find a way to work with a Northern Alliance warlord to take down the enemy. The film marked the US feature film directorial debut of Danish director Nicolai Fuglsig and was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (the producer of Black Hawk Down Pirates of the Caribbean Michael Shannon , Trevante Rhodes , Navid Negahban , William Fichtner , and Michael Peña .
