The following weapons were used in the film Lone Survivor:
A Beretta 92FS pistol is used by Matthew "Axe" Axelson (Ben Foster) after he runs out of ammunition for his rifle. Though in reality, the pistol currently preferred by the Navy SEALs is the SIG-Sauer P226 Navy, as an operator, an individual SEAL has wide latitude as to what handgun he wishes to use, and the 92FS/M9 is familiar among members of the military. Another SEAL draws his Beretta on a Chinook pilot.
A Makarov PM with a stainless finish is used by Taraq (Sammy Sheik), the right hand man of Taliban commander Shah. In a struggle, Gulab (Ali Suliman) is seen handling the pistol.
Marcus Luttrell (Mark Wahlberg) and Matthew Axelson (Ben Foster) are both armed with the Mk 12 Mod 1 Special Purpose Rifle. Luttrell's rifle features an A2 fixed stock while Axelson's has a SOPMOD collapsible stock, but both rifles have suppressors, Harris bipods, AN/PEQ-2 IR designators and Leupold MR/T scopes.
A Taliban militant attempts to kill Matthew with his AK-47.

AKM
Most of the Taliban militants who attack the SEAL recon team are armed with AKM rifles. Mohammed Gulab (Ali Suliman) later uses an AKM while protecting Luttrell.
When Michael P. Murphy (Taylor Kitsch) surveys the village with his monocular, Murphy spots one of the Taliban militants carrying what appears to be a Dragunov SVD on his back.
