Training Day is the 2017 television continuation of the 2001 crime film that starred Denzel Washington. Set fifteen years after the original film, the television series stars Justin Cornwall as Kyle, a young detective who is asked to infiltrate the ranks of the LAPD's secretive unit known as SIS, or the Special Investigation Section, which is headed up by Frank Roarke (Bill Paxton), a rogue detective with unorthodox methods of combating crime. Training Day premiered in the US on CBS in February of 2017 and is being executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and the original film's director Antoine Fuqua.

The Beretta 92FS is used in "Apocalypse Now" by Menjivar's sicarios with Detective Kyle Craig (Justin Cornwall) taking one from a sicario. Hejar (Ramiz Monsef) uses one in "Tehrangeles". Some of the Russian Mafiya Bratoks as their sidearms in "Trigger Time" with one of them being disarmed. Evan Corolla (Rene Rosado), a President 23's biker, uses it in "Faultlines".
Beretta 92FS Inox
A Beretta 92FS Inox is used by Menjivar (Joaquim de Almeida) at the end of "Apocalypse Now" (S1E01). The pistol also is seen in "Trigger Time" (S1E03) in a flashback by a Snakehead smuggler named Broken Claw (Philip Tan). One of Chief Wade's men uses it in "Wages of Sin". A P23 biker uses it in "Faultines". Thurman Ballesteros (Lou Diamond Phillips) and one of his men use them in "Sunset".
Beretta 92A1
A Beretta 92A1 is used by Macawi (John A. Lorenz) uses it in "Wages of Sin". A President 23 biker uses it in "Faultines".
Colt XSE
A Colt XSE is used by Detective Frank Roarke (Bill Paxton) of the SIS as his main sidearm.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is used by officers in the LAPD. Jeff Kulen (Brian Van Holt) uses it in "Wages of Sin" after he breaks out of jail.
Glock 26
A Glock 26 is used by Kyle as his backup sidearm while in the SIS.
IMI Desert Eagle
A gold IMI Desert Eagle is used by Rios (Roel Navarro) before Frank shoots him in "Apocalyse Now". A nickel version is used by Frank as another sidearm of choice, which was taken from him unfortunately in "Tehrangeles".
Kimber SIS
A Kimber SIS is seen with Detective Campbell, first seen in "Faultlines".
Kimber SIS Pro
A Kimber SIS Pro is used by Detective Rebecca Lee (Katrina Law) as her main sidearm.
Kimber Warrior
Kimber Warriors are carried by Detectives Lee and Campbell, first appearing in "Code of Honor".

A SIG-Sauer P226R is used by rogue ATF agent Gerald Lynch (Jamie McShane) and some rogue ATF agents in "Faultlines". A two-tone version with an extended mag is used by P23 biker leader Clancy Trussell (Charles Baker) in "Faultlines".
