Ribeyrolles 1918 Automatic Carbine - 8x35mm Ribeyrolles

The Chauchat Ribeyrolles 1918 Automatic Carbine is an Automatic Carbine/Light Machine Gun produced in France in 1916. The design looks similar to an SMG, but at the time was used as a LMG and Automatic Rifle. The weapon was developed by Chauchat and Ribeyrolles (hence Chauchat-Ribeyrolles) and was produced from 1918 to 1920. It utilized a 25 round magazine and fired between 550 and 600 rounds per minute. The weapon was capable of equipping a bi-pod and a bayonet but never saw any service in the war due to it's heavy design, and paired with its weak round made it unsuitable for combat.
