Act of Aggression is a real time strategy game produced by Eugen and published by Focus Interactive. The game follows the United Nations-backed Chimera task force as they ally with the USA and fight a mysterious enemy called the Cartel.
The following weapons were used in the videogame Act of Aggression:
Submachine Guns
TDI Vector
An oversized TDI Vector is depicted as the weapon of choice for Contractors, the basic infantry unit of the Cartel faction.
Jian She Type-05
Vanguards, elite mercenaries available to the Cartel faction, use Jian She Type-05 (A 9mm conversion of the QCW-05) as their primary weapons. The gun is modelled with the carrying handle removed and fitted with a suppressor.
Heckler & Koch MP5A4
MP5A4 with a dedicated forend weaponlight is seen in the hands of US Army Delta operatives and "Men in Black" (Bodyguards that appear in some campaign missions.)
Assault Rifles
M16A4
US Marines and generic Militia encutered throughout the campaign carry M16A4 without any attachments. The weapon is incorrectly depicted as fully automatic.
FAMAS FÉLINE
FÉLIN, the basic infantry unit of the Chimera faction, uses a FAMAS rifle, modified with an infrared telescopic sight.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M107
SAS snipers are armed with M107 rifles. An in-game upgrade allows the rifle to fire depleted uranium rounds, which increases the SAS' damage against vehicles.
XM 2010
US Army snipers use M2010 ESR as their main weapons. An upgrade equips the rifle with a silencer, ensuring that snipers will remained concealed even when firing.
Machineguns
M249
Upgraded Marines switch their M16's for M249 SAW, increasing their range and suppresing capabilities. The weapon is modelled with a Elcan Spectre M145 Optical Sight.
M2 Heavy Barrel
Several vehicles (most notably the default US Army Humvee) are armed with a Browning M2HB machinegun.
GAU-19
One of the upgrade kits available for the Humvee replaces its original M2HB with a GAU 19 minigun, increasing its damage against infantry and helicopters. Twin GAU-19s are also seen mounted on the Sentry Turret, Chimera's static defense structure.
Launchers
MK. 19
One of the upgrade kits available for the US Army Humvee replaces its original M2HB machinegun with a Mk 19 Grenade Launcher, increasing damage to infantry and light armoured vehicles.
FGM-148 Javelin
The US Army Faction uses FGM-148 Javelin as their primary AT weapon. It can be upgraded with a NLOS Guiding system, allowing a much more effective top attacks against tanks and armoured vehicles.
BMG-71 TOW 2
One of the upgrade kits available for the US Army HUmvee replaces its original M2HB machinegun for a Tow-2 launcher, increasing damage against armoured targets at the cost of slow fire rate.
M72 LAW
M72 LAW, referred to as "Viper" (Presumably named after the ill-fated FRG-17 Viper programme back in 1980's), is the standard AT weapon for Cartel. Upgraded US Delta operatives use the same launcher under the designation "M72E9".
SA-18 Grouse
SA-18 Grouse, under its original name 9K38 Igla ("needle") is the primary weapon of Cartel's AA infantry, "Grinch". BMPT Terminator can be equipped with the launcher to increase its AA potential.
FIM-92 Stinger
FIM-92 Stinger is correctly depicted as US Army AA rocket launcher.
Unused Weapons
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare 50
Promotional art depicts the SAS sniper unit equipped with a Accuracy International Arctic Warfare 50, instead of the Barrett M107 seen in games release.
