I don’t think this is an A2, but rather an M16 aka SP1 (flat "slab side receiver") with A2 style handguards used to impersonate the M16A2. Unidentified long gun
During the opening credits some long gun is seen in fragments.
My guess is that this is a modified Ruger Mini-14, rather like the Bermuda stainless steel Mini-14 GB in aftermarket Choate Folding Stock as seen on the Ruger Mini-14 page, PeeWee055 (talk) 06:20, 25 July 2016 (EDT)
