Wonder Woman (2017) is the 2017 feature film adaptation of the popular DC Comics series of the same name. Gal Gadot stars as Diana Prince, an Amazonian demigod and daughter of Zeus who had previously been introduced in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Chris Pine also stars as Steve Trevor, a U.S. military intelligence officer in the US Army Air Corps. At least part of the movie takes place during World War I. The film also is part of the DC Cinematic Universe, which includes Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.
