Out of Africa (1985)

Out of Africa is a 1985 drama starring Meryl Streep as an aristocratic wife who in the early part of the 20th century travels to Africa with her husband and subsequently finds herself falling into a relationship with a daring big game hunter (Robert Redford). The film was directed by Sydney Pollack (The Yakuza, Three Days of the Condor, The Firm) and received Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director.
