One for the Money is a 2012 action-comedy based on the first in a series of novels by Janet Evanovich and starring Katherine Heigl as Evanovich's heroine Stephanie Plum, a newly-minted bail enforcement agent (bounty hunter) whose first quarry is an ex-cop whom she once had a relationship with.
The following weapons were used in the film One for the Money:
Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara) carries and fires a Glock 19. According to Ranger (Daniel Sunjata), the weapon he used to shoot Ziggy Kuleska, was a personal weapon, rather than a service weapon (which presumably would have been confiscated after Morelli was arrested). In flashbacks, the weapon appears to be the same Glock 19 that Morelli carries in the present. Ranger incongruously describes the bullet used as a ".45 caliber hydroshock." Stephanie, trying to sound at home with firearms terminology, later describes the same round as a "hydroshock with a forty-five."
Smith & Wesson Model 637
Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) carries the new Smith & Wesson Model 637 airweight revolver (unlike the Model 642, it has an exposed hammer). Ranger (Daniel Sunjata) purchases it for her since she doesn't have a permit. Joe Morelli takes it away briefly and unloads it. Lonnie Dodd (Michael Laurence) takes it away and shoots Ranger with it (much to Stephanie's embarrassment), before he's apprehended by Stephanie.
