When there is scene of the MCG rifle firing, it changes to an actual M16 with a thirty round magazine. They are mainly used in the final gunfight between the prisoners and the guards.
One of the hunters (Gus Mercurio) carries an Australian L1A1 self-loading rifle with a scope, large magazine and sawn-off barrel configuration (In real life used in Vietnam, sometimes with XM148 UGL's). After the hunter is killed by Griff (Bill Young), he takes the rifle and uses it to fire at Thatcher (Michael Craig) and Jennifer (Carmen Duncan).
Paul (Steve Railsback) is briefly uses a nickel Colt Trooper to fire at guards at the end. He wasn't seen taking the revolver in the film, so it is assumed he took it from the Jeep that he and Chris stole.
