Cartouche is a 1962 French historical adventure film directed by Philippe de Broca. The story takes place in early 18th century Paris as Louis Dominique Bourguignon (Jean-Paul Belmondo), nicknamed Cartouche, becomes an heroic outlaw making audacious robberies and distributing to the poor. However, he falls for the icy beauty of noblewoman Isabelle de Ferrussac (Odile Versois), who's none other than the wife of the chief of police.
The following weapons were used in the film Cartouche:
Chatellerault Model 1833 Cavalry Pistol
Various characters in the film use a anachronistic Chatellerault Model 1833 cavalry pistol.
Flintlock Pistol
Some characters are seen also with really Flintlock pistols.
Charleville musket
French soldiers and gendarmes are armed with Charleville muskets.
