Tumbledown

Tumbledown is a 1988 English war film by the BBC. It is based on the experiences of Robert Lawrence (Colin Firth), who fought in the Falklands War in the combat on the Tumbledown Mountain.

FN FAL PARA

The Argentine Marines are barely visibly equipped with folding stock FAL rifles. An Argentinian also uses a folding stock FAL. Later in the climax, Robert uses it until he falls wounded.

When the injured Englishmen are recovering on the warship, they watch The Deer Hunter by Michael Cimino on the internal TV system, with Robert De Niro playing a soldier carrying an M16. In reality and the original script, the film was actually Cross of Iron.
