Fantômas se déchaîne (English title: Fantomas Unleashed) is a 1965 French crime comedy directed by André Hunebelle. Starring Jean Marais as the arch villain with the same name opposite Louis de Funès as the earnest but outclassed commissaire Juve and the journalist Fandor, also played by Marais. It is the second in the trilogy of Fantômas films that became extremely successful in Europe and Soviet Union and found success even in the United States and Japan. This time, Fantômas is developing a telepathic weapon that will give him power over the will and mind of people. For scientific work in his secret laboratory, he kidnaps famous scientists.
