Walking Tall: The Payback is the 2007 DTV sequel to the 2004 action film remake that starred Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The 2007 sequel is unrelated to the 2004 film other than the basic plot of a military veteran (Kevin Sorbo) who returns to his hometown and finds that he needs to clean up the criminal elements that have infested it. Another DTV sequel, Walking Tall: Lone Justice, would follow in 2007.
