World War Z is a third person shooter developed by Saber Interactive that is loosely based on the book of the same name and set in the same universe as the movie it shares it's name with. In a style similar to Left 4 Dead, players play 4 different survivors spread around various locations such as New York City, Jerusalem, Moscow, Tokyo, and Marseille, dealing with massive hordes of zombies as well as various objectives. The guns in-game are broken into 4 different tiers with a few basic types of gun such as shotguns, semi-auto rifles, burst fire rifles and so on within each tier.

Tier I

The M1911A1 appears as the "Pistol" although the story calls it the "1911 Protector" The M1911 is the starting Secondary Weapon of every class unless upgraded. The pistol also comes stock with a suppressor which is good as it allows you to be stealthy and pick off zombies from the horde.
