Civilization IV is a 2005 turn-based strategy game developed by Firaxis, and created by Sid Meier. The premise of the game is starting with a band of settlers in the year 4000 BC and creating a civilization to stand the test of time. Once the player enters the Renaissance Era and beyond they have the ability to create units armed with many firearms. While the graphics are low quality (which makes some weapons difficult to identify), many guns are very intricately modeled and are thus easily recognizable.
The following weapons appear in the video game Civilization IV and its expansion packs:
If the player is granted a Great General in the Industrial Age and beyond, the Unit is seen wielding a blocky looking Single Action Army. The look of the General appears to be based off of George S. Patton, so the use of a Colt SAA is fitting.

Note he is named Ivan the Terrible - All granted Great Person units are randomly named, leading to this.
Unknown Suppressed Pistol
The Industrial Age and later Great Spy's (based off James Bond) icon shows an unknown suppressed handgun.
The Ottoman Janissary, French Musketeer, and Musketman units all use shoulder-muskets of various unknown make. The icon for the Rifling technology shows an unknown percussion cap rifle.
The American Navy SEAL Unit wields XM177s with mounted M203 Grenade Launchers (which are unusable). The XM177s also seem to have optical scopes and suppressors. Unlike most movies and video games, the guns fire nearly as loud as they normally would.
In the "Next War" scenario, Cyborg units are armed with Remington 870. These shotguns are equipped with pistol grips, box magazines, and SPAS-12-style folding stock.
The SAM Infantry unit wield FIM-43 Redeyes. As their name implies, they use these against aircraft only, opting to use their aforementioned Skorpions against any ground unit.
Error creating thumbnail: File missingGerman FlaK 36 (note two-piece barrel with locking collar) - 88x571mm RError creating thumbnail: File missingThe Improved Anti-Air Gun unit. This unit only appears in the "Road to War" scenario. These are probably supposed to be FlaK 37s, the dedicated AA gun version of the German 88, but they have the two-piece FlaK 36 barrel (the 37 could use this, but tended to have the older one-piece FlaK 18 barrel) and lack the follow-the-pointer dials on the gun cradle, so there is no feature that would identify them as 37s.
