PMN (Protivopekhotnaya mina nazhimnaya - pressure anti-personnel mine) is a series of Soviet blast anti-personnel mines, inclding PMN (later renamed PMN-1), PMN-2, PMN-3, PMN-4, and MS-3 (a boobytrap device, based on PMN). The first version was put into service in 1950. For its high lethalty, PMN is known at the West under the nickname "Black Widow".
