The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is a 2007 Revisionist Western film directed by Andrew Dominik and chronicles the relationship between the impressionable Robert Ford (Casey Affleck) and his hero, the outlaw Jesse James (Brad Pitt) and the events that would lead up to the fateful confrontation. Two .45 Colt Single Action Armys are used by Jesse James (Brad Pitt) with 5.5" and 7.5" barrel lengths, made by USFA. Charley Ford (Sam Rockwell) also carries a 4.75" barrel "Quick-Draw" model, which Bob uses during the Wood Hite shootout. Wood Hite (Jeremy Renner) carries an SAA during his shootout with Dick.
Colt Paterson
Bob Ford (Casey Affleck) carries an old "grandaddy Colt Paterson", which Jesse replaces with a S&W.
