Armsel Protecta

The Meanwhile City police are armed with Armsel Protecta revolving shotguns, carried across the small of the back in a custom rig of some sort. These weapons have had their folding stocks removed, muzzles modified, and decoration applied to their ammunition drums.

AK-based Sniper Rifle

As the masked vigilante, Jonathan Preest's sniper rifle is a fantasy weapon based upon an AKM, AK-74 or AK-100 series receiver (note the two staggered pins behind the change lever) with custom stock, fore-end, scope-mount, scope, suppressor, and a pistol grip that is suggestive of an air or gas bulb...

The square fore-end on Preest's rifle suggests an earlier (1960s) example. Though described (albeit speculatively) by Tarrant as Preest's 'service weapon', this is not a military weapon but rather a civilian hunting or target rifle (the only Parker-Hale rifle ever adopted by UK forces is the L81 Cadet Target Rifle).
