__TOC__<br clear="all">
Sheriff George Bannerman ([[Sandy Ward]]) definitely carries a bright finish stainless steel Smith & Wesson revolver as his main sidearm. Unfortunately, because there are no close-ups of the weapon, it makes it almost impossible to identify the exact model from other similar revolvers of the brand. Judging by the inscription on the right side of the barrel and the cylinder catch, it can be confirmed that it is a Smith & Wesson and not another brand like Colt, but it is still unknown which model it is. It is most likely a Smith & Wesson Model 66 in .357 Magnum, judging by the wood grips and the stainless steel finish, although it could also be a 686. It is later used by Donna Trenton ([[Dee Wallace]]).
