The Wilby Conspiracy is a 1975 thriller film directed by Ralph Wilson (Counterpoint). Set in Apartheid-era South Africa, Michael Caine and Sidney Poitier star as a British mining engineer and an African activist who become fugitives of the law. They are pursued by a South African secret policeman (Nicol Williamson) who hopes that they will reveal the secret location of Wilby, leader of the anti-Apartheid movement.

Bureau of State Security (BOSS) agent Van Heerden (Rijk de Gooyer) uses a snub-nosed Smith & Wesson Model 10 while threatening Jim Keough (Michael Caine) and his girlfriend Rina Van Niekirk (Prunella Gee).
Webley .455 MK V
BOSS agent Major Horn (Nicol Williamson) and Van Heerden both appear to use the Webley .455 MK V in the finale. Keough also uses a Webley .455 MK V.
Iver Johnson Revolver
Dr. Mukerjee (Saeed Jaffrey) and Dr. Persis Ray (Persis Khambatta) both use an Iver Johnson Revolver.

Rina's estranged husband Blane Van Niekirk (Rutger Hauer in his first English-language role) attempts to shoot Twala with a Winchester Model 70 before being disarmed by Keough. Keough then uses the rifle to force Blane to fly him, Twala and Rina across the border into Botswana.

Sentries at the Black Congress camp in Botswana are armed with Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I rifles.
