Van Pelt ([[Jonathan Hyde]], in a dual role) initially comes out of the game with a modified [[Winchester Model 1887|Winchester M1901 Shotgun]] rifle, but runs out of ammunition, which cannot be replenished since it hasn't been manufactured since 1903. According to a shooting draft of the film's script, this custom shotgun chambers an obsolete "6 gauge" cartridge. The Model 1901 in the film has been modified with custom furniture, a false box magazine and a large tube placed over the barrel in order to make it appear to be a large caliber elephant gun.

A Winchester Model 1901 shotgun, but with the following modifications: custom stock, false box magazine added in front of the action (the 1901 has a tubular magazine), and a very odd rear sight. It is sed by Van Pelt before running out of ammunition for it after which he trades it in for a USAS-12.

Jumanji (1995)
