Jules ([[Samuel L. Jackson]]) carries a 9mm [[Star Model B]] throughout the film. While visually the [[Star Model B]] is almost identical to Vincent's ([[John Travolta]]) .45 [[Colt 1911]] it is a much rarer pistol of Spanish manufacture. Despite this rarity the [[Star Model B]] can generally be had for a third the price of a [[Colt 1911]] of similar condition, and would have been much less expensive than Vincent's ([[John Travolta]]) chromed and pearl gripped [[Colt 1911]].

"Man #4" ([[Alexis Arquette]]) bursts out of the bathroom with a [[Taurus Model 689]] chambered in .357 Magnum with a custom ported barrel. Afterwards, they remark on the size of the man's "hand cannon" and Jules comes to believe that God deflected the bullets.
