George Kennedy (1925-2016) was an American actor well known for his roles in such films as ''[[Thunderbolt and Lightfoot]]'', ''[[Earthquake]]'', and ''[[The Naked Gun]]'' film trilogy.   He also appeared as "Dragline" in the film ''[[Cool Hand Luke]]'', a role for which he received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.  He passed away at the age of 91 in 2016.

George Kennedy (1925-2016) was an American actor well known for his roles in such films as Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Earthquake, and The Naked Gun film trilogy. He also appeared as "Dragline" in the film Cool Hand Luke, a role for which he received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He passed away at the age of 91 in 2016.
