Evgeniy Valerianovich Samoilov (also spelled Yevgeny Valerianovich Samoilov) (April 16, 1912 — February 17, 2006) was a prominent Soviet screen and stage actor, best known for roles in Shchors (1939), Bright Path (1940), Four Hearts (1941), At 6 P.M. After the War (1944). He was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1974. He was the father of fellow actress Tatyana Samoylova.
