Some screen PPS-43 are visually modified with the barrel covers removed and the barrels fitted with Cutts compensators of Thompson SMG. These appear to be movie props, previously used in ''[[Treasures of the Flaming Cliffs (Sokrovishcha pylayushchikh skal)#PPS-43 (visually modified)|Sokrovishcha pylayushchikh skal]]''.
