:::::::I think that this category (and the page) is interesting because it illustrates that the majority of Best Picture winners in the past 50 years are films that feature firearms. I think that is a useful tidbit of information for any film critics/journalists who use this site for research. -[[User:MT2008|MT2008]] ([[User talk:MT2008|talk]]) 16:53, 30 July 2017 (EDT)

Why was this category added? --Ben41 (talk) 17:42, 7 May 2013 (EDT)

Do you think we should keep it? --Funkychinaman (talk) 02:06, 8 May 2013 (EDT)
I don't care. Keep or delete. --Jcordell (talk) 13:36, 9 May 2013 (EDT)
I'm in favor of delete. It's not the purpose of this site to note the quality of a film. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:46, 10 November 2014 (EST)
I've fixed up the page since then and added links. I would elect to keep it due to the wide amount of pictures that are represented in the category (nearly every winner in the past 2 decades is represented here). --Ben41 (talk) 13:19, 10 November 2014 (EST)
I agree with Ben41. Let's keep this category. --Swordfish941 (talk) 13:51, 10 November 2014 (EST)
Alright, I'm okay with grandfathering in this and the National Film Registry category and putting the kibbosh on any further awards-based categories. --Funkychinaman (talk) 15:24, 10 November 2014 (EST)
I think that this category (and the page) is interesting because it illustrates that the majority of Best Picture winners in the past 50 years are films that feature firearms. I think that is a useful tidbit of information for any film critics/journalists who use this site for research. -MT2008 (talk) 16:53, 30 July 2017 (EDT)
