Welcome to IMFDB

Before you do any editing please take the time to read the Rules, Standards and Principles. This is a very important document that explains how this website is setup as well as telling you what is and isn't allowed. If it is determined by an admin that you have not read these rules, your account will be suspended. Continued non-compliance may result in a permanent ban. After that you should also read the IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Style Guide to familiarize yourself with the image and formatting requirements for pages you create.

There are a number of pages that desperately need your help. You can find these Incomplete pages here.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them here but make sure to sign your post by typing --~~~~.

Finally, IMFDB has a forum set up here that is only available to registered members. There is lots of good stuff to see there. If you would like to join the forum, please post HERE and an account will be created for you.

Now, HAPPY EDITING! bunni (talk) 02:22, 19 October 2015 (EDT)

Also read the rules and Style Guide, before you create the page or duing somithing else. If you don't do it, your page will be delited, and you will be banned. Pyramid Silent (talk) 04:09, 17 November 2015 (EST)

And don't reuploads Images (like you did it with PPK file) with the same name. Change the file name and appoad new image. Pyramid Silent (talk) 04:14, 17 November 2015 (EST)

We have a few pages you can go over first, like the Style Guide, IMFDB Screencapping Guide and the IMFDB Page Templates page. But the above user is correct, Mortdecai will be need to be brought up to spec to stick around. Let me know if you have any questions. --Funkychinaman (talk) 08:02, 17 November 2015 (EST)

Hey, I appreciate your help. Before I created Mortdecai, I did read the rules, etc. I just couldn't figure out how to do it. I would ask that you not ban me since it was an honest mistake on my part, I just couldn't understand the instructions and I haven't made wiki pages with this level of complexity before. I won't attempt another page until I have a better understanding of how to do it. Thanks for your responses.

Not a problem. The IMFDB Page Templates page was created with new users in mind. You can just copy what's on the page and substitute in what you want. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:38, 17 November 2015 (EST)
Don't worry. Previosly, I have a few questions. Do you have this film in the license (not bootleg). If you have it, you should capture screenshoots of moments with firearms und uploads it. Please, uses the unical file names, like Mort_gun or MORT1 or something like that. After that, you shuld add the file name (like MORT PPK.jpg) to the [[Image:MORT PPK.jpg|500px|thumb|none|''Screenshot description'']]. For subhead, uses =Subhead=. Please, add ~~~~ at the ends of your posts on disscussin pages. And, the last: if somebody leave you message on your disscussion page, you should answer him on his page. Good Luk ^_^ . Pyramid Silent (talk) 10:26, 17 November 2015 (EST)
For example - look on the my last page: The Lady Musketeer. You can use it as the sample. Pyramid Silent (talk) 10:28, 17 November 2015 (EST)
Also, at the first time, I can help you. If you upload screenshoots to Mortdecai, I can help you to with constructing this page. Pyramid Silent (talk) 12:18, 17 November 2015 (EST)
